Salework Innovative E-commerce Management Platform

Salework is a prime example of how a tech startup can break through by focusing on thoroughly solving real “pain points” in the market. Founded in early 2020, Salework began with the ambition to build a comprehensive online sales management platform tailored to the needs of e-commerce retailers in Vietnam. Within just a few years, the startup has evolved into an integrated ecosystem that helps sellers manage, optimize, and expand their business operations across multiple platforms—such as Shopee, Lazada, and Tiki—through a single unified interface.

Salework’s origin stems from practical realities: many shop owners had to rely on a patchwork of different tools to track orders, manage inventory, calculate profits, and handle customer care, resulting in inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and wasted time. To address this, the founding team developed a minimum viable product (MVP) focused on synchronizing order and inventory data across various e-commerce platforms, allowing sellers to monitor all sales information in real time. This foundation enabled Salework to build out more advanced features, such as product-level profit analysis, integration of shipping fees, advertising costs, employee wages, and post-sale customer support.

From a technological standpoint, although Salework has not publicly disclosed details of its tech stack, it is highly regarded for its ability to process large volumes of data and maintain stable API connections with multiple e-commerce platforms simultaneously. Its system currently handles over 20 million orders per month, with a total transaction value exceeding VND 4,000 billion. Maintaining stable performance amid real-time data flows and constantly changing updates from e-commerce platforms is a significant challenge—one that Salework’s engineering team has overcome thanks to strategic investment in research and development, as well as a dedicated technical support team that is always ready to resolve user issues.

Compared to standalone solutions or foreign tools available in the Vietnamese market, Salework stands out for its high degree of localization. Every detail on its dashboard is carefully designed to reflect the actual behaviors and needs of Vietnamese sellers—from simplified, easy-to-understand data presentations to automatically scheduled performance reports. Unlike bulky ERP systems that are more suitable for large enterprises, Salework is optimized for even small-scale sellers with an intuitive interface, flexible pricing, and deep integration with popular domestic e-commerce platforms.

Salework’s growth journey is not only reflected in its business metrics but also recognized by the startup community and investors. The startup was named among the Top 10 at TECHFEST Vietnam 2021, won an award at the Startup and Innovation Ideas competition organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and attracted investor interest with offers of up to USD 200,000 for 20% equity. These achievements stem not only from a solid business model but also from the team’s ability to listen to the market, swiftly improve products based on user feedback, and sustain a steady pace of technological innovation.

One of the key takeaways from Salework’s journey is the product development mindset centered on users’ core needs and real behaviors. Rather than chasing flashy tech jargon, they have remained steadfast in a simple philosophy: technology should make business easier. The combination of a “build fast – test fast – learn fast” strategy with the ability to scale quickly has enabled Salework to stand out in an increasingly competitive tech startup ecosystem.

With the strong growth potential of the e-commerce market in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, Salework is well-positioned to become a digital infrastructure platform for tens of thousands of retail businesses undergoing digital transformation. With a founding team deeply familiar with the market, a clear product vision, and solid technical capabilities, Salework is helping reshape how online sellers manage operations in a dynamic and complex e-commerce environment.
