Wareflex was established with the goal of digitizing the logistics industry in Vietnam through a platform that connects businesses with a diverse network of warehouses and transportation providers nationwide. Without owning any warehouses or fleets, Wareflex adopts a tech-enabled intermediary logistics model, allowing businesses to search, book, and manage logistics services flexibly, based on actual demand and without being tied to fixed infrastructure. This idea was born out of the fragmented, under-digitized nature of Vietnam’s logistics market—particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises—where short-term warehouse rentals and seasonal or campaign-based fleet coordination remain significant challenges. Recognizing a large yet underserved market need, the founding team began developing an MVP with two core features: connecting short-term warehouse and transport demands with providers who already have infrastructure, and enabling businesses to manage their entire delivery process through a centralized dashboard.
In its initial phase, Wareflex focused on building a lightweight technology platform optimized for integrating logistics partners’ data and rapidly responding to customer requests. The team chose to develop small, modular components using a lean approach, prioritizing flexibility and scalability. After just two months of pilot testing, Wareflex had processed over 70 service requests and attracted more than 3,000 registered business accounts.
Going beyond the MVP, Wareflex continued to enhance its product by expanding its partner network to over 150 logistics providers, covering nearly 400 warehouses and 4,000 vehicles nationwide. Each connection point is standardized in terms of information and updated in real-time, increasing reliability for business customers. Additionally, the startup has developed recommendation algorithms based on customer behavior and usage history, gradually incorporating artificial intelligence to support operational decision-making.
Thanks to its asset-light model and flexible technology infrastructure, Wareflex gained early interest from investors. In 2022, the company successfully raised USD 785,000 in pre-seed funding from Genesia Ventures and Antler to further develop its platform and grow its team. Later, during Season 6 of Shark Tank Vietnam, the startup impressed investors once again and secured a commitment of USD 500,000 for a 10% equity stake from Shark Hùng Lâm and Shark Tuệ Lâm, reflecting strong investor confidence in the logistics-as-a-platform model in Vietnam.
Beyond fundraising achievements, Wareflex has also gained significant recognition within the startup ecosystem: Top 5 at TECHFEST Vietnam 2022, Top 6 at VietChallenge 2022, and named among the Top 20 High-Quality Products of 2024 under the National Brand Program. These milestones not only validate the startup’s vision but also serve as springboards for regional expansion.
In the long term, Wareflex aims to become the leading on-demand logistics platform in Southeast Asia, leveraging opportunities in markets with similarly fragmented infrastructure, such as Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The startup envisions delivering a comprehensive digital logistics experience—from instant supply-demand matching and transparent pricing to real-time shipment tracking and seamless integration with enterprise management systems.
